“The song oozes class. The saxophone and piano come together nicely. It's a beautiful track (At Dawn)”

— Forthright Records

“At Dawn is a stunning release complete with an intelligent arrangement, magnetic melodies and warm production. One thing is for sure, it is one of the most exciting new releases this week" ” - FVMusicBlogs
“Mats Skimmelå ushers in a moment of quiet sophistication with “At Dawn,” a classic jazz ballad that captures the delicate beauty of a new beginning. Performed in a quartet setting and featuring Swedish saxophonist Johan Pihlström, the track leans into tradition while maintaining a fresh sense of presence”
